ITL to Present at the Parliament of The World's Religions - 2004

The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions has selected In The Light's proposal for a program on, "Gandhi and Khan: Power of Nonviolence" to be presented at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona, Spain on July 11, 2004.

Imam Achmat Salie, Prasanna Vengadam, David Capraro and Ven. Chuen Phangcham are all traveling to Barcelona and will take part in the In The Light presentation. The presentation will be made in a hall with seating for 330 people and all attendees will receive a free copy of Eknath Easwaran's classic book, "Nonviolent Soldier of Islam", courtesy of In The Light.

This year's Parliament will last from July 7 through July 13. The previous Parliament was held in Capetown, South Africa in 1999.
