Badshah Khan, a devout Muslim, raised history's first nonviolent army of 100,000 men (and some women). Later, they joined forces with Gandhi's freedom movement to play a major role in India's victorious struggle for independence.

In The Light has sponsored "Gandhi and Khan: Power of Nonviolence" to raise awareness of nonviolence out of adherence to universal spiritual principles.
